It can often seem like there’s no way out of a DWI charge, but the truth is that several defenses may be available. These could include an illegal traffic stop, faulty testing equipment, or a changing BAC level. To learn more about your possible defenses, contact us today.
Misdemeanors may be small in the court system, but any type of criminal record could still be a turn off to potential landlords and employers. There is still also the possibility of jail time or a fine that you can’t afford. Before you accept a guilty plea, call us to learn about how you can defend your case.
Even though traffic tickets aren’t generally criminal offenses, they can still have a big impact on your life. Just one ticket can lead to unaffordable auto insurance rates or losing the clean driving history that you need to keep your job. Additional tickets could mean a suspended license and not being able to get to any job. Before you simply agree to pay the fine, contact us to learn about possible defenses or ways to get the ticket reduced.
Domestic violence is a serious charge that could lead to a restraining order that keeps you away from your home and a criminal record as a violent offender that makes it difficult to find employment or rent an apartment. Most domestic violence cases involve events that are subject to misinterpretation, and the deck is often stacked against the alleged perpetrator. Let us help make sure your voice is heard.

How We Are Paid – Criminal/Traffic/DWI Matters
In criminal, traffic, and DWI matters the firm usually charges a flat fee to represent our clients in these matters. On some occasions, an hourly rate fee agreement may be used.
The amount of the flat fee will depend on several different factors, including, but not limited to: 1) the nature and severity of the charge, 2) if it is a felony or misdemeanor charge, 3) the number of charges, 4) the clients past criminal or traffic record, 5)the jurisdiction of the offense, 6) and the strength of the evidence in the case.
As in personal injury cases, the attorney’s fee is separate and distinct from litigation expenses.
